This Privacy Policy describes how Empire Investor (“the app”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the iOS game published by the developer listed on the App Store.
Summary

- We do not operate a gameplay server that receives your save data.

Information stored on your device
The app stores game data locally on your iPhone or iPad using on-device storage (including SwiftData). This may include:
- Your chosen player display name
- Game progress, portfolio, settings and preferences
- Ad consent choices managed through Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP), where applicable
This information is used to run the game and remember your progress. It is not intended to identify you outside the app. Deleting the app removes locally stored game data unless iOS retains backups according to your device settings.
Information collected by the developer
Empire Investor does not require you to create a user account. We do not intentionally collect your player name, portfolio or other gameplay data through a developer-operated backend.
If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send — such as your email address, device model, iOS version, app version, screenshots and message contents. We use that information only to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues and maintain reasonable support records.
Advertising and third-party services
The app may show optional rewarded video ads and, in some cases, interstitial ads (for example after extended time away from the app). These ads are served through Google AdMob.
When you view or interact with an ad, Google and its partners may process technical and advertising-related information, which can include:
- Device type, operating system and app version
- IP address and approximate location derived from IP
- Advertising identifier (IDFA) or other device identifiers, depending on your iOS privacy settings and consent choices
- Ad interaction data (for example impressions and clicks)
Google’s processing is governed by Google’s policies, including the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Consent and ad choices
Where required by law (for example in the EEA, UK or certain US states), the app uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present privacy and consent messaging before personalized ads are shown. You can also review or change ad consent from in-app Settings when that option is available.
You can limit ad tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your device. Rewarded ads are optional — you choose whether to watch them for in-game rewards.
Purchases
If in-app purchases are offered in a future version, payment processing will be handled by Apple. We would not receive or store your full payment card details. Apple may provide transaction-related information needed to confirm purchases, restore purchases, prevent fraud and provide support.
Analytics and crash reporting
At the time of this policy, the app does not include a separate developer-operated analytics or crash-reporting SDK beyond what Apple and ad partners may collect as described above. If that changes, this policy will be updated.
Children’s privacy
Empire Investor is not directed at children under 13 and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal information through a support request may contact us to request deletion.
Data retention
Locally stored game data remains on your device until you delete the app or reset progress from in-app Settings. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to answer requests, maintain support records, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
Your choices
- Delete the app to remove locally stored game progress.
- Use in-app Settings to reset game progress.
- Adjust iOS privacy and tracking settings for advertising identifiers.
- Manage ad consent through UMP or in-app ad consent controls when shown.
- Email us to request deletion of support correspondence you sent.
International users
If you are in the European Economic Area, UK or Switzerland, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold from support correspondence. Ad-related processing by Google is handled under Google’s consent tools and policies as described above.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, its services or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when this page was most recently revised. Material changes may also be reflected in App Store release notes.
